Yellow Honey Processing:
Cherries are pulped by pressing them against a centrifuge. Pressure is regulated so harder cherries (under ripe or over dried) will not be pulped, which is then screen seperated. With 50% of the mucilage still on the beans, it is then spread on the drying patio or raised beds to begin the drying process.

Coffees are also sometimes finished in mechanical dryers on low temperatures to achieve the desired final humidity for processing.
